Three great gigs mark the start of touring for Mima Thewes. First off was supporting Baka Beyond in Cumbria, at the newly up and running UpFront Puppet Theatre. Last time we saw this place it was just a metal frame, so great to be part of kickstarting this very special versatile venue. Next was headlining the Undergrowth folk night in Bristol, supported by the talents of our good friend George Francis, to a packed-out audience of very friendly faces. And then just down the road into Crickowell in Wales, where the newly opened Welsh Academy of Art put easels to one side and opened up the old assembly hall to an intimate crowd.
A great success; now looking forward to launching Mima’s debut EP in February.
