Knock gets a Mima and BKS double debut!

Returning to our favourite Scottish festival Knockengorroch after last years trials and tribulations was emotional to say the least. Mima and myself did a wee set in the Longhouse, which was really lovely. Thanks to the very dandy Douglas Robertson for the snaps below.

Also this years Knock witnessed one of the first live outings for the Boney Kit Stepper, my “solo” looping shenanigans, which played through the mighty Chapel Perilous Art System in beautiful quadrophonic sound thanks to Hector and Callum Easter (aka Fridgemaster). Tom Adams joined in on fiddle and Jem Le Lievre on Ngoni. Technical mayhem proceeded me just about doing what I was trying to do! Thanks for all the support and encouragement everyone. More to follow!… Thanks to DJ Recypher and the Chapel Perilous crew for letting me play jungle drums over the old skool jungle set into the wee hours. Bring on the phat style experimentation!
