JAM24

JAM24 is a sponsored 24hr Jam to raise funds for important causes. This first JAM24 is raising money for HandinHand for Syria, a charity delivering a wide range of aid and development to those who need it most, directly into Syria.

On 14th August 2015, Tpot Studios (Scotland) hosted some top artists in a genre defying journey of musical sharing to spark JAM24 into action. Through music we become more than the sum of our parts, sharing blessings and the web of Love around the globe, channeling this to the places that need it most.

The first JAM24 musicians included: Lizabett Russo, Mairi Campbell, Dave Webster, Marius Roje, Jem Le Lievre, Tim Lane, Jemima Thewes, Emerald Rae, Morag Brown, Markish, Ali Macleod, Alex Urquart-Taylor, Calum Easter, Tim Vincent-Smith, Matt Wright, Daniel Dumnov and James Chapman. Follow links on JAM24.org to find out more about the musicians involved.

The event was recorded and filmed and you can peruse the results both on the JAM24 bandcamp page and on Tpot’s youtube channel and give accordingly, either by buying tracks on bandcamp or donating on our justgiving page.

Please get in touch via JAM24.org if you would like to find out how to put on your own JAM24 with your own community where ever you are in the world. We are keen for this to be an inclusive idea and encourage musicians worldwide to initiate their own sponsored JAM24 in their venue, rehearsal space, recording studio, or school. Naturally people will feel closer to certain causes and/or issues. However, our long term goal is to bring people together to use the power of Music to protect us all from corporate ecocide and sociocide and promote Peace, ecological and social responsibility and empowerment.
